So we were thrilled when Katy Wilson joined our team in 2024; well-versed in construction industry workings, Katy has helped expand our estimating bandwidth to keep pace with growing demand. With quiet confidence, she powers through the estimating grind to develop bids that are precise and on time.
What does it mean to you to be a solution-ist?
If I have to hunt down a specific item to get a quote for a bid I can’t just guess; I have to be as thorough as possible. Being a solutionist means I do the best I can to solve the problem and not give up until the solution is found. Sometimes that involves going back to the drawing board.
What are your favorite outdoor spaces?
I love hiking or being around the water. The beach, hanging around the pool, lake, river… any body of water.
What is your favorite tree or plant?
An Orchid because they are beautiful in bloom or not in bloom, they are easy to care for and they just keep coming back to life.
