Josh Guarisco

Project Manager

Josh is driven by the belief that every problem has an answer, it’s just a matter of staying persistent and creative in the process. He’s able to “think outside,” on his feet, embracing unexpected issues that come his way, and work diligently to find solutions.

With a calm and collected demeanor, Josh thrives in high-pressure situations, facing challenges head-on with a clear focus on what needs to be done. His dedication to delivering results shows in everything he does, from managing designs to coordinating with the team. For Josh, the key to success is embracing challenges, viewing them not as setbacks, but as opportunities to learn and improve.

What is the most unusual or interesting part of your job?

The most meaningful project I’ve worked on was the ConocoPhillips Outdoor Event Center. We created custom metal planters and a perforated metal screen wall that intertwined with a wood cladding wall. The finished product was very impressive. We also incorporated irrigation, soil, plants, and trees, which added to the aesthetic.

What is your favorite outdoor space?

The golf course.

What does it mean to you to be a solution-ist?

Being a solution-ist means accepting that challenges are part of the job. You’ll deal with unexpected issues daily, and while you can try to mitigate them, some things are beyond your control. It’s important to put your head down and focus on finding solutions. Our main responsibility as project managers is to reach out, seek answers, and tackle any problems that arise.
