Hernan “Art” Arguello
Operations Manager
Art joined our team in 2013 as head foreman, and is now our
team’s Operations Manager. In his role, Art is in charge of all aspects
pertaining to fleet coordination, deliveries, and crew members. Art is best
known for keeping things running smoothly both in and out of the B&D
office, but it’s his positive attitude and go-get-’em outlook on life that
really define who he is.
Art strives to stay one step ahead of the grind, and has an innate ability to juggle multiple tasks and put the right people in the right places. He holds a degree in Electronics with Networking Technology and has over two decades of experience in business management. Our line of work involves lots of moving targets, and he helps facilitate these ever-changing needs with our project managers and staff.
What is the most meaningful or challenging project?
We have worked for many of the big oil and gas companies in and around Houston. It is always challenging to complete these jobs due to the intricate designs, but the difficulty is intensified due to the stringent safety requirements of these companies.
What project are you most proud of?
I am proud of everything that we do, but the fountain that we built for Anadarko is one of my favorites. I learned a lot during that project and it was very satisfying to be a part of creating something so beautiful.
What does it mean to you to be a solution-ist?
It means that I am always on the lookout for problems and attempting to solve them before they cause our clients headaches.
