Located in Spring, Texas, the Holcomb Family YMCA is a welcome addition to the Houston suburb, providing family-friendly space for community recreation the organization is known for. Working closely with CultivateLand, landscape architect of the project, our team led the efforts on all landscape installation around the John M. O’Quinn Aquatic Center.
As a brand-new facility, the landscaping around the pool area was pivotal in creating a polished and cohesive look for the outdoor space. Fresh plants and sod were meticulously placed with the goal of enhancing aesthetics and functionality of the area. The result? A lush, inviting environment that enhances the overall look of the new YMCA while blending in with the surrounding natural landscape.
Though on paper the project was straightforward, unpredictable weather conditions during the project added some additional challenges to the overall timeline. Despite the delays, the team maintained a steady pace to ensure the final outcome met the high standards and intent of CultivateLand’s design.
Through thoughtful design and installation, the Holcomb Family YMCA is now a vibrant, inviting outdoor environment to be enjoyed year round.
